The Noguchi Museum

Earlier this year, my husband and I visited the Noguchi Museum during a short trip back to New York. It’s one of my favorite places in the city, and in the early days of our relationship, I brought him there for the first time. This time, we wanted to pick out one of the Akari lanterns from the gift shop as a shared, early paper anniversary gift. We picked the Akari 7AD and brought it back to Copenhagen with us. We’re both obsessed with it.
My Summer Wishlist
Vintage Seiko Watch: My best friend has the most gorgeous vintage gold watch that I have been jealous of for years. There’s something so chic about a vintage gold watch in the summer.
Soeur Alphee Shirt: A shirt with an amazing colors for summer. I haven’t seen any color combinations like this one before.
Apartamento Magazine (Issue 35): I’m a long-time collector of Apartamento Magazine issues, and on May 22, the 35th edition will be out. I highly recommend reading Apartamento Magazine if you’re looking for less curated, more lived-in homes to gather inspiration from!
Vintage Eyelet Cotton Night Gown: This vintage number is one of many I’ve saved on Etsy and eBay, as I wasn’t quick enough to scoop up one of
’s vintage night gown picks.IT Girl: The Life and Legacy of Jane Birkin by Maria Meltzer: When we were in Paris, I wanted to purchase Munkey Diaries, which includes journal entries from Jane Birkin in the years 1957-1982. I wasn’t sure if the book was published by Jane Birkin herself, and publishing diaries without the author’s consent feels icky to me—so, I passed on it. Instead, I’m very excited to read Maria Meltzer’s biography, IT Girl, which comes out on October 7.
Soeur Jane Top: This top is from Soeur’s collaboration with Sophia Roe. The cut is beautiful and has a distinctly ’90s minimalist feel.
FRĒDA SALVADOR Elba Penny Loafer: I have been hunting for the perfect pair of loafers for summer, and FRĒDA SALVADOR’s Elba Penny Loafers is damn near perfect.
Fashion Neurosis
Fashion Neurosis is a fashion podcast recently launched by designer Bella Freud. The podcast focuses on what our clothes reveal about who we are as people, and who we’re trying to become. Throughout the interviews, Freud shares anecdotes from her own life and ties them into honest, open-hearted discussions about the human experience. It’s almost therapeutic to listen to, so I’ve been soaking it up these past few months.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune Anti-Dark Spots Ultralet Creme SPF 50+
If you’re on the hunt for a non-greasy sunscreen that stays put throughout the entire day, might I suggest La Roche-Posay’s newest addition to their Anthelios line, the UVMune Anti-Dark Spots Ultra-Light Cream SPF 50+? This is a dark spot version of their cult-favorite sunscreen UVMune Ultra-Light Cream, and is a light-weight formula that practically disappears into your skin, while protecting it from the sun.
